The Art & Science of Mindfulness
How can we make decisions based from WHOLENESS, not separation? In Britain and the USA - as in the rest of Europe - business, academia and organizations have begun to recognize the benefits of training people in, and the value of Mindfulness. The approach often used is with a psychological basis (Jon Kabat-Zinn) for allowing the mind to process and de-clutter itself. Sophia believes that this is a great step one. Step two - the vital anchoring of this powerful training, is engaging the unique “BODY – MIND”. Our being is a complete totality, there is NO separation. To work with only mind is to ignore the wholeness that we already are. Step three in the Art and Science of Mindfulness, is to learn how to harness the invisible forces that are surrounding us daily. There are simple ways to hold attention centred in 'this moment', naturally. The approach is to use bodywork techniques to clear and calm the mind, unplug from the machine - the 'conditioned software' programmed by parents, school, society, media: Be consciously and completely focused in the here and now. Only then are we able to connect with the unlimited Creativity naturally available and inherent in each moment. In this ‘STATE’, we have true access to our real potential Training takes place in accessible four hour sessions, in the centre of Barcelona.
